"When a traditional Chinese instrument meets modern electronic music" To celebrate Chinese New Year, music composer and producer Andy Leung set to launch his debut electronic album ‘New Cola 2016’ on the 13th Feb 2016. His new album is inspired by electronic sub-genre and influenced by contemporary classical. Features an international award-winning virtuosic Erhuist Wan Pin Chu, known as the 'Jimmy Hendrix-of-erhu’, using the world’s first digital erhu, allowing him to create sounds and effects that was previously impossible. Leung also performs using an innovative 5-dimensional keyboard, adding extra layers of expressions and articulation that was previously impossible in a traditional electronic keyboard setup. It will be a fun event for a Saturday night and it is a unique opportunity to see the talented duo to perform during the festive Chinese New Year. The event is supported by Help Musician UK and China Exchange. Here's a video of their last performance: http://bit.ly/1nknj
