What happens when a fantasist with a fading memory recalls events from years ago ? Frankie Abbott, now in a care home, is helped by Marion, one of his carers, to remember. The fun starts as the mother-smothered, big talking buffoon reverts to a past littered with guns, girls and gangsters. A comedy by David Barry starring David Barry and Linda Regan. David Barry played Frankie Abbott in the LWT sitcom Please Sir! and the spin-off series The Fenn Street Gang. David is now an author with three novels, Each Man Kills, Flashback and Willie The Actor. This will be the first time that David has reprised his role of Frankie in over 40 years. Linda Regan has appeared in television and film. She is best known for her role as Yellow Coat April the girlfriend of Spike in the British holiday camp sitcom Hi-de-Hi!. Linda is now a crime writer and has published many successful novels. Linda plays Marion, Frankie's carer. The play lasts 50 minutes followed by a Q&A with both David and Linda.
